# Get order

> Retrieve an order by its id.

> [!NOTE]
>
> This endpoint is currently available in **Sandbox** only. It is not yet available in **Production**.

> [!NOTE]
>
> In Sandbox the orders you create are not stored, so only the sample orders returned by [List orders](./list-orders) can be retrieved. Any other id replies with `404`.

An order that is `pending` has filled at the venue and is waiting to be booked. Retrieve it again until it is `closed`.
